Crew wellbeing is a vital priority for the Garrets team. With responsibility for supplying safe food provisions to over 30,000 crew members globally, Garrets ensure positive outcomes on board through our specialised Cook and Galley Management training programs.
Over the past six months, more than 300 cooks have completed training at our Manila-based facility. Building on this success, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our training programs in 2025.
Starting January 2025, Garrets will offer its specialised Cook and Galley Management courses in two additional locations: Mumbai, India, and Jakarta, Indonesia. With a diverse range of nationalities among the cooks and crew across our managed fleet, these new centers enhance our ability to serve customers by providing accessible, high-quality training.
Beyond in-person training sessions, Garrets also support vessels under our management with a comprehensive suite of online training and guidance from our team of maritime catering experts.
