Garrets International operates as a division of the wider Wrist Group and represents one of the marine industry's largest and most accomplished food provision and stores management companies. We operate from our headquarter in Nørresundby where this position is located, but also have branches in Romford (United Kingdom), Antwerp (Belgium), Singapore and Manila (the Philippines) with a total count of 110 great colleagues.
Identify new business opportunities and relationships with existing customers
As our new Business Development Manager, we are looking forward to welcoming you to our team in Global Marine Procurement (GMP) counting 1 colleague in Denmark and 7 colleagues in our Manila office. In this position you will have a central role in identifying and developing new business opportunities while you manage and develop long term relation with existing customers in close collaboration with the GMP team and the rest of the Garrets organization. Our customers are sailing worldwide and therefore this position gives you the opportunity to reach every corner of the world.
The role is balancing both business development and key account management and within that field your key responsibilities will be:
The role will require occasional travel - up to 20 days annually.
What you bring to Garrets
We are looking for a colleague with a proven experience within B2B sales, business development or key account management - preferably in the maritime, offshore or provisions supply industry. You are result-oriented and have the ability to generate leads, develop a sales pipeline and convert prospects into long-term customers.
Additionally, we expect that you:
Furthermore, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have a solid experience in the use of ERP systems and MS Office.
